Glass dome collection at the home-turned-museum of antique curiosities of Joseph and Mary Mangion in Lija, Malta

Joseph and Mary Mangion have turned their home in Lija into a museum open to visitors.   Over the years they have collected so many unusual items and curiosities from markets, auctions and private sales and collections.  This is the first of a series of programmes.

Joseph has an eye for picking these items.  Hiswife Mary and daughter Maria spend many hours a day cleaning the large number of collections that are meticulously maintained and displayed with pride in their home.

Items included in the first show are Joseph and Mary’s glass dome collection.

You can watch the first episode via this link.

You can visit the museum at 54 Sir Ugo Mifsud Street, Lija by appointment by phoning 99469467.
