Ambassador Gina Abercrombie Winstanley on making America a better place

Gina Ambercrombie Winstanley was appointed US Ambassador to Malta by President Barack Obama, a position she held form 2012 to 2016.

She says it was a joy to represent the USA under the Obama administration but is proud to have served the USA under every single President since Ronald Reagan.  As an ambassador, she says she represented the President of the USA and the American people.

We spoke earlier this month about the appointment of Senator Kamala Harris as VP to Joe Biden.

‘Senator Harris is a woman of great talent and has led by example throughout her career.
She has energised supporters and the media and she is a strong contender for the Democratic ticket.  She is the daughter of immigrants from Jamaica and India. She is a wonderful example of Americans across the board.  She is ready to lead from day one and will be a strong partner for Joe Biden.’
