Traditional in the UK, these easter biscuits are covered with melted chocolate and it is a great activity to keep kids occupied in the holidays and prepare some home made gifts for friends and family.
Prep Time 15mins Makes 12 medium biscuits
You will need: 150g Novibloc 200g unsalted butter 150g sugar 2 egg yolks 400g plain flour 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder a bit of nutmeg vanilla 2 tablespoons milk
Preheat oven to 180o Prepare a baking tray with baking paper & baking spray.
Place all the ingredients in a large bowl & use an electric mixer with a K Beater to mix the ingredients.
Roll out the dough on a clean floured surface. Use cutters to cut the cookies into shapes of your choice.
Place on the prepared baking tray & bake for 10 to 15 mins. Allow to cool completely on the tray before removing them.
Melt the Novibloc.
Dip each biscuit into the chocolate to cover the top & decorate to your liking.
