‘I baked some all natural, no additive dog biscuits with the kids. I think they enjoyed making them’
You will need:
2 cups oats
5 tablespoons olive oil
2 cup water
2 tablespoons chicken or beef stock
2 tablespoons cornflour
3 cups wholemeal flour
Preheat the oven to 180C. Line an oven proof dish with baking paper.
Place all the dry ingredients and half the oats together in a large mixing bowl. Stir to combine.
Mix the liquid ingredients together.
To make dog bone biscuits, roll the dough about 2cm thick.
Weigh out portions of 150g. Shape them into cylinders and then work each one into a bon shape.
Lay the biscuits close together on the prepared baking sheets. The biscuits will not rise so you can place them close together on the dish.
Bake for 40 minutes and allow to cool completely for a day.
